Sensei Pauline

Sensei Pauline Penedo is a Second Degree Black Belt and instructor at Downtown Martial Arts. Passionate about empowering others through karate, she believes training builds far more than physical skills; it develops confidence, resilience, courage, and character. Through her supportive teaching style and coaching background, Pauline fosters an encouraging environment where students of all ages can challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover their inner strength.

Sensei Chris

Sensei Chris began karate at age 7 and has trained for over two decades, earning his 3rd-degree black belt and the title of Sensei. With experience across North America and a deep dedication to teaching, he founded Downtown Martial Arts to share the discipline, confidence, and values that shaped his journey.
